I have to tell you the craziest thing happened yesterday. Someone recognized me that reads my blog! I know, right?! Ummmmm.....I so wish it hadn't been a sweat pants kinda day! Anyhow, I hope I didn't act too crazy and weird because it's a good chance we may run into each other again. Hopefully next time I won't be wearing sweat pants, and I'll act like my normal crazy self instead of my super crazy self. ;) Honestly, it was really cool to run into someone that reads the blog and it really made my day (apart from the being caught in my sweat pants thing).
So, I'm sure it comes as no surprise that I made a winter list. I mean I made one for summer and fall so why not? The list making fits right in with my crazy labeling tendencies. Oh yeah, and the potting bench got a little winter makeover.
I just picked up a fresh wreath and some greenery at a local garden shop and layered in some pine cones.
Now, we're just waiting for snow to make an appearance so we can cross a few more things off our list. I'm especially looking forward to sledding this year! Have you made a winter list?
Have a great weekend!

Beautiful! Love the chalkboards.
ReplyDeleteI was home (Versailles) for Christmas and definitely kept an eye out for you every time we went to Lexington! Alas, no sightings.
ReplyDeleteOn a different subject, I finally did the Woodford Reserve tour and HIGHLY recommend it! The surrounding area is gorgeous and the aging warehouse smells like heaven! (Please don't tell me what that last statement says about me...)
i love the greenery and logs!
ReplyDeletewe are waiting for snow here, too- we had a teeny bit on tuesday but not enough to do anything.... more please!
That is so cool! I'm pretty sure that might be why I don't post many pictures of myself...hahaha! And I love the winter list...I miss sledding! AZ has a shocking lack of snow (c: Have a great weekend, lady!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun idea - we make a summer list and I end up scrambling 3 weeks before school starts to do 175,000 things so my kids don't think their mom is pitiful ;) The lack of snow around these parts is nutty, I sure hope we get some sledding time in...
ReplyDeleteI am still loving that you were recognized! I love it. That potting bench area is amazing. I just love the "list". Such a cute idea.
ReplyDeleteYour potting bench is so pretty and natural, so lucky to have that space:)
ReplyDeleteLooks so cute and inviting.
ReplyDeleteHappy weekend!
Maureen
Love the little makeover! And I had an all day PJ day today! So fun to run into someone who recognized you!
ReplyDeleteThat looks great! I've been keeping an eye on craigslist for something similar. That is crazy to run in to a reader...I haven't had that happen yet. Which is good, bc I'm sure they'd be so disappointed!!!
ReplyDeleteI always thought I would run into you somewhere around Lex - figured it would probably be Hobby Lobby though. It's funny because I was worried about sounding crazy myself and wearing my yoga pants :) It was great meeting you in person.
