From Brassy to Sassy

Remember that pink chandy I showed you over a week ago?

Well it used to look like this.  This a before picture of my dining room from almost two years ago.  This was also before I learned to turn off the flash when I take a picture.

I sprayed it pink for my pink loving girl.

Here it is in her room.  Although keep in mind I still need to paint the walls and well, pretty much do everything else too.

She had a fan here before that didn't have an overhead light.

The chandy is so much more fun, and it's so nice to have an overhead light in here now!  No more stepping on My Littlest Pet Shops in the dark as I walk across the room to turn on the lamp.  I've been working on the bookshelves too.  I promise to show you the finished project next week!  Pinky swear.

I hope you have a wonderful Easter weekend!

  2. I am sending some light love your way. It is fantastic. Glad you used the Rustoleum paint. We didn't figure that out when we painted Jordan's light until we had gone through two cans of the cheap stuff. I am sure she loves it.

  5. Ooh, I like! Wanted to do this, too, but in red because my daughter hates pink. Came out great!

  6. Love it! The pink is so fun! I've been trying to convince my hubby to let me paint a similar chandelier white and hang it in our bedroom! No luck just yet, but I'm still working on it! ;)

  11. Love the chandy. I have the same exact one. Still in ugly brass. Must be a builders favorite. When you painted it, did you prime it first? Where did you paint it? Outside? Thanks!

  12. So so darling!!! I am such a huge fan of a painted Chandelier! I did a painted Chandelier in a house I flipped and was so sad when a lot of Buyers were not fans.... they were just behind the times :):)
