Ugly Truth 2 (Abstract Art)

Abstract Art

That's what the hubs calls it.

;)

This wall - hallway - that I blogged about, ummmmmm.......here.  Yeah, back in August of 2011!

Yeah, been rockin' the abstract art look for way too long.

I'd say I'm embarrassed.

But the truth is - I'm not.

Life happens.

I blog about wanting to do things- like paint some stripes on walls -

but, walls don't get painted or rather they don't get finished

and I keep on blogging anyway.

More life happens.

Some stuff gets done.

Like giant chalkboard calendar walls

and headboards made out of pegboard.

And well, who doesn't like abstract art?

Not me.

Obviously.

But seriously, I gotta get on this  -

like soon.

You wanna share some of your ugly truths -

it's all good -

we're in the nest

you know, the trust tree

get it out -

it feels good

to be real

and to share the ugly

um, I mean the abstract art.

whatever.

P.S.  Have you checked out Megan's new blog - Honey We're Healthy?  It's awesome!  I'm hoping that  just by reading I'll get in better shape - wonder how that's gonna work?  ;)

Happy Weekend - I've got stripes to paint...............maybe

  2. I'm always talking about plans for projects that never seem to get started. If only there was a plentitude of time and money!

  6. LOL. This happens around here all of the time. If I am not feeling it, it does not got finished. Our bonus room makeover is now sporting a children's playhouse meant to be outside. Life happens! And that is the most beautiful part about it.

  7. oh girl I have several spaces in my home that are and have been under construction for ages. I have a hard time staying focused on one project and if something shiny and exciting catches my eye Im off working on that-leaving the carnage of the project I started. My drives my husband crazy but I chalk it up to creativity. I like your "abstract" wall ;-)

  10. My whole house is in constant flux/chaos. I can totally relate. Halfway thru a project I get an idea for a totally different project in a totally different room and off I go. Glad to know I'm not the only one. :)

  12. Its humbling of you to share this unfinished art. I like that. Great looking arts comes from this at first. Before they are perfected we make mistakes to be able to perfect it. That's the cycle.
