Simple Valentine Mantel

I wanted to give the mantel a little love in honor of the upcoming holiday, but I wanted to keep it simple.  I mean, it is just one day.  I made a couple of quickie changes that literally took less than 5 minutes.

I brought my diy chalkboard globe back because apparently it's my idea of bringing sexy back.  ;)

Then I grabbed some gold scrapbook paper from my stash and cut out some x's and o's.

With the help of some twine and washi tape I had a little paper banner made in 3.5 seconds - or maybe just a few seconds longer.

I strung it up on the love of my life birthday present I gifted myself and called this little love makeover done!

Easy and simple - boom.  Don't you just love a good quickie?  Ummmmmm......that didn't really come out right did it?  ;)
