Pinterest Inspired Pops of Green

It's time for another one of our Dog Days of Winter Are Over Challenges!

It's the Wear It Challenge!  This challenge is all about not just pinning but wearing it.  Maybe it's because I'm definitely ready for spring, but as I looked over my Pinterest boards I noticed a lot of green.  

I don't really know why but lately I've really been drawn to the color green both in interior design and fashion.   It seems to be a color that really makes a grand statement in small doses.

Thanks to a Stella and Dot give away I won on Emily's blog I was able to make this gorgeous green necklace mine.

I really love it paired with neutrals.  It's always amazing to me how a new piece of jewelry can give an old outfit a totally new look.  It's like a little burst of energy for your wardrobe.

I also recently bought this necklace from Anthropologie (similar found here) and have worn it to add just a little pop of green to a few outfits as well.

Green is such a fresh color.  It's the color of renewal.  I'm so itching to see something other than bare branches and brown grass right about now.  Until spring decides to make an appearance I'll be incorporating some green in my wardrobe and in my home.  I may have gone off the green deep end with my newest purchase.   Thanks to a 30% off sale, I came home with this dress from the new Mad Men collection at Banana Republic.

It's a whole lot more than a pop of green, huh?  It's a punch-you-in-the-face-green. ;)
