DIY: Custom Makeup Brushes – Jonathan Adler Style Soiree

Today is the last style soiree of our designer-inspired series.

We’re celebrating the king of happy chic – Mr. Jonathan Adler.

I just love the way he uses pattern and color!  Drawing inspiration from his colorful patterns I gave my old, boring makeup brushes a fun little update.

This may have been my easiest diy to date!  While watching The Avengers one night with my hub, I got my craft on.  I sanded the wooden handles and used a little bit of blue craft paint on the bottoms.  Then I busted out my Zink hAppy and printed these fun tapes to wrap around the handle of each brush.  Start to finish – about 30 minutes!

My “new” makeup brushes put a little pep in my morning routine!
