Hey friends! Today I’m participating in the Eclectically Fall Home Tour coordinated by Kelly from Eclectically Vintage.
If you’re dropping by from the last stop at City Farmhouse, welcome!
I’m thrilled to be participating in this tour of homes as fall is without a doubt my favorite season!
I love the colors of fall……….the cooler temps that call for sweaters and boots…………..the slow cooked meals that make your house smell incredible…………..and most of all, the decorating! My mantra when it comes to seasonal decorating is “keep it simple”. I basically like to dress my home for fall the same way I dress myself……………..with cozy, comfortable layers.
But enough chit chat……come on in y’all!
I’m an Anne fan, and every fall this quote comes to mind. October is the month I celebrate my birthday and my anniversary, so it’s kind of fitting. 🙂
I love plaid blankets, little pumpkins and wood burning fireplaces! And I’m currently obsessed with my new jute storage basket (from the Desert Caravan Collection at World Market) that I’m using to hold firewood.
I also love little white pumpkins, decorating with wine corks and cute, mossy cornucopias.
And feathers and trophy cups!
I like bringing in natural elements like branches, dried eucalyptus and clippings from the yard.

I keep succulents in the house year round because they’re the only plants I can manage to keep alive. 😉 I gave the succulent planter box on my breakfast room table a little fall makeover just by adding in some wood slice orbs.
Like I said, I like to keep things simple, making a few tweaks here and there to bring in that warm and cozy fall feeling to my home.
Thank you all so much for popping by today, be sure to catch the next fall home tour over at Ella Claire.
Thanks very much to World Market for sponsoring today’s tour! You all know how much I love me some World Market……..now if I could just get them to open a store here in Lexington, KY my life would be that much sweeter. Although it would probably be bad for my basket hoarding tendencies. 😉
